All about Kale

Today was our farmers market and it really is nice and lots of people like to go and see what is available. Lots of ladies looking for kale, but sometimes it's like a wedding dress sale and they all jump in at once for the kale. Is kale a new thing or has it been grown for years? Anyway I love kale, mostly made into chips. Crunchy and salty. Now for me in a smoothie, well I can't get past the not sweet in my sweet drink. As I was waiting in line to pay, a women was saying to me how she makes her smoothies with kale and I said, "yuck". And she said, "did you just yuck my yum?" I thought this was very cute and funny. Do you? She was serious and so was I.
