Brown Sugar

It seems like the things that I remember the most are what people say to me in a, how can I say this, derogatory way. To me it's funny, because most people talk to me nicely. And a friend here in the Jungle said something to me that has stayed in my memory. We are still friends.

Lots of things for baking are hard to get here so some of us here ask people to bring back stuff from our homes in the USA. Like brown sugar. Here, it's brown and it's sugar, but it's not brown sugar that smashes down in the measuring cup. I like that kind. So I asked this friend here to bring be back some, she asked "how many," I said 3 boxes, she said "you brown sugar bitch". I laughed.
