Pesto and Pasta
I sure love a noodle, add Pesto, and Presto you got yourself a comforting meal. I just added a salad and a little beer. Maybe it should have been red wine. I did not want to take another picture. Me and this camera. I have hurt myself with this new camera two times now. It has fallen on my hand hard, made a black and blue mark. I guess I need to be more careful. I keep losing the lens cap. I am so not worthy. I will be better, I will be better. With the camera anyway.
I would call this clean eating, nothing dirty here.

2-3 Cups of basil leaves
1-2 cloves of garlic
1/4 cup pine nuts, I used walnuts this time and sometimes I use almonds. It's all good
Olive oil
Salt
1/4 cup of Parmesean cheese
lemon
Add the basil, garlic, cheese and nuts to the food processor, pulse a few times, now add the olive oil just a little at a time to make a thick paste. Add some salt to taste and squeeze a little lemon to taste also. Enjoy the freshness of pesto. You can add a few chili seeds if you like it spicy. I do.
