Roasted Garbonzos

Roasted to a crisp bite. Perfect on a salad or to munch on with a cocktail, beer or wine. We had them on top of our salad with fish.

1 15 oz can garbonzo beans, you might want 2 cans, because they are so good.

2 Tablespoons olive oil

1/2 teaspoon salt

2 to 4 teaspoons of spices you like, I used chipotle chili powder, Cayenne paper, paprika, and sea salt. I like them spicy.

Heat the oven to 400 degrees.

Rinse and drain the garbonzos and then dry them well with paper towels.

Toss the garbonzos in a small bowl with the olive oil and spicies and put on a cookie sheet.

Spread them on a cookie sheet and roast for 20 to 30 minutes. Stir or shake the pan every 10 minutes or so.

Done when dry and crisp.

Serve when hot, they become soft after sitting but still so good.
