Party Pizza's with Grandma Marie's Dough

This time I made individual pizzas and one big one with this recipe. This is not thin pizza, this is fluffy and yeasty and oh so soft pizza dough. You could make all the dough into small pizzas for a party, I got 8 small pizzas out of half the dough and made one large one. I used my sauce, I mean Grandma Marie's sauce and made some with my pesto. Add what you like on top, I used Italian Sausage, Mushrooms, Caramelized Onions, Olives and Mozzarella Cheese. Make it your way.

The Dough

5 to 6 Cups of flour

1 Pkg. Yeast

1 Tablespoon of salt

1 Tablespoon of sugar

1 Cup lukewarm water

1 Cup of warm milk

1/4 Cup of Olive Oil

Add the yeast to the warm water and let set until foamy. About 5 to 8 minutes.

Add the warm milk, salt, sugar, oil and flour to a large bowl, add the yeast mixture and stir together well. Now start kneading the dough for about 8 to 10 minutes adding in small amounts of flour until you get a soft and smooth dough. Try not to add to much flour.

Now place the dough in an oiled bowl and let rise in a warm place for about 2 to 3 hours. Take out of bowl and cut in half, with one half make 8 balls and or make the other half a large pizza. Stretch the dough to fit the pan. I stretch and then let the dough rest a minute or two and stretch again. Add the sauce and topping and bake in a 400 degree oven for 20 to 30 minutes or until golden and the cheese is all melty.
