Deby Hogue
Easy and Fast Salsa, restaurant style
My new favorite homemade salsa. You throw it all in the food processor or blender and zappo you have salsa ready. Tonight I will be using this salsa to lay my Chili Rellenos on. Yesterday I made this same recipe and Chuck and I ate it all up with some chips for dinner, oh we did add a beer for health reasons. I freeze some jalapeños so whenever I need 1 or 2 I have them ready to go.
2 cans of whole peeled tomatoes including the juice, I used 2, 17 oz. cans because that is whats in my store. So I made a little more.
1 onion rough chopped just a little
2 jalapeños just cut off the stems I used the seeds also.
4 cloves of garlic rough chop
1 1/2 teaspoons of sea salt
2 lemons or limes just the juice
1 bunch of cilantro just a little chop and remove most of the stems
Put it all in the food processor or blender and blend until somewhat smooth. Chill for 1 hour or so. And the salsa to.
Makes about 4 cups. revised from Onion Rings and Things

Dig in it's so good
