Brownies with Macadamia Nuts, Chocolate Chips and Pink Himalayan Salt

I made these for my friend Bianca because I know she loves anything Chocolate and she just had a baby so I wanted to take something with me on my first visit to see baby Bruno. Oh he is so cute. Anyway Chuck and I always say we are not to big at all on Brownies and never really like Chocolate Chips. Well. I am not sure if it's the Pink Himalayan Salt or the best brownies in the world recipe but we both loved these and Chuck as already had 3 with one more ready for him. That is just unheard of he always says I don't like sweets. Ha. Got ya. So I believe you will love these babies as much as we did. And Bianca too.

Brownies and Mac Nuts and Pink Salt

And the road to happiness

1 cup of Butter melted, two sticks

2 1/2 cups Sugar maybe just a little less if you like

1 Tablespoon Vanilla X

4 Eggs

1 1/2 cups flour

1 cup cocoa

1/2 teaspoon salt for the batter

1/2 to 1 cup Chocolate Chips I used the mini ones

1 cup of chopped Macadamia Nuts

Pink Salt or Course Salt to sprinkle on top

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and line a 9x13 in pan with parchment paper, spray a little if you like. I did.

In a large bowl mix the melted butter, sugar and vanilla X with a whisk until smooth

Whisk in the eggs one at a time and really mix them in well, count to 40 for each egg. I just do this in my head for all egg mixing.

Stir in the flour, cocoa and salt until all is combined.

Spread the batter in the prepared pan and bake for 26 to 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out almost clean.

Sprinkle on the nuts and chocolate chips and then the salt
