I always make everything form scratch, not really. And this cake is no exception. I do make most of my baked goods form scratch, not this cake and I'll tell ya why. It turns out perfect every time because I use a yellow cake mix. The box cake mix holds up well under or on top (I'm confused) of the pineapple and nuts. You can use rounds of pineapple or like I did this time and use chunks. Mango works really well to. Give it a try. Not sure why the golden box is not around this post. Learning curve, learning curve.
