Cold Brew Coffee with Vanilla Cream

It's just coffee and water or is it? It starts off with the coffee you like. I used a Costa Rica blend and water. But when it's done the flavor is mellow and complex. And the Vanilla Cream doesn't hurt one little bit, in fact it might be a must. 

 

 

 I put the coffee filter in the strainer.

 

 

3 cups of water

2/3 cup of coffee grinds you like

Pour water into a jar and add the coffee grinds and stir. Let sit over night on the counter, or at least 12 hours

Strain through a coffee filter and then do it again with a clean coffee filter. It's ready

 

 

The Vanilla Cream

 

1 cup cream, I used heavy cream because that's what I had.

Add 2 Tablespoons of sugar

Add in 2 teaspoons of vanilla

Mix together and pour into your cold brew coffee and enjoy Add the hard shell to the glass if you like.
