Healthy Snacks, roasted garbanzos and kale

 The Kale 

 

I started with the Kale and washed and dried it, it needs to be very dry. Tear into pieces and take out the center stem, it's tough. Lay on a cookie sheet and add some olive oil not to much just a drizzle and rub onto all pieces and lay in an even layer. Salt them with sea salt or any kind you have and bake for maybe 10 to 15 minutes at 350. The thing is to keep checking and tasting until the kale is crisp and they melt in your mouth. Literally they will melt in you mouth. Best way to eat Kale for me anyway.

 

 

The Garbanzos

 

I use canned beans because I can make them anytime I want them, just keep a couple of cans in your cupboard. Open the can and drain them well. Heat the oven to 350 degrees and spread the Garbanzos on a cookie sheet and drizzle on some olive oil and sprinkle on anything you like. I used hot Ghost chili salt you can use sea salt or seasoned salt or pepper just put on what ever you like. Cook until golden and very crisp just keep checking and tasting. It will take a least 15 to 20 minutes. Just keep tasting. Enjoy with a cold beer.
