Got this for a wedding present and I wish I knew who gave it to us all those years ago.
Mashed banana folded in egg whites and heavy cream and this old waffle iron from our wedding, still wish I knew who gave this to us.
And this cool old plate that my sister gave me many years ago. Dam we are getting old
Oh and the syrup holder is very old too!!
That little yellow plate is super old too. Lets face it everything I have is old like me and life is good.
2 eggs, separate the eggs
1 cup heavy cream
3/4 cup milk
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
2 Tablespoon sugar
4 teaspoons baking powder
Whip the egg whites set aside
Mix the rest of the ingredients together, yolks too
Gently fold in egg whites
Get your waffle iron very hot and add the batter to fill
add lots of butter and syrup and you can freeze the extra waffles and toast in toaster for later. Makes about 12 waffles. You can add some vanilla if you like too.
Whip egg whites- set aside.
Mix all other ingredients.
Gently fold egg whites into batter.
Cook on hot waffle iron.
